Learning Outside the Classroom is a page that I list all of
my volunteer work I have done for the community.
- October 2009, donating clothes to homeless teens, I donated boxes full of clothes from neighbor’s and I for teenagers that are homeless.
-This gave me experience that I can donate for the good of people, it made me feel good about myself that I am helping the needy and made me want to do more.
- October 2010, I have helped gather money to help Breast Cancer Awareness; I went around to people and got money to donate to Breast Cancer Awareness. Our group, at the end, gathered over $1,000 to go toward Breast Cancer research.
- This helped me learn that Breast Cancer is very serious and no game. I felt good that I was helping a serious cause.
- October 2009, cleaning up the local Magna cemetery; our group helped by cleaning up graves, pulling weeds, picking up trash, painting.
- I thought I was doing good and giving respect to the dead. It made me feel good and want to do even more for my community
